BNO Internship:

Client Branding

I worked as an associate designer at Baldwin and Obenauf, a creative agency agency in Philly and New Jersey. I worked with the senior designers: Emily Kopf, Miranda Pokras, Daniel Grushecky, and Mykel Griggs. I was brand-trained for Cepheid, Bristol Myer Squibb, and Verizon. I learned their brand guidelines and worked with the other designers to create social media posts, website banners, and headshots for the companies.

Editied Verizon photoshoot images and resizes for different social platforms. The images needed some retouching with the hair and background. Additionally, the bottom gradient was originally white and needed to be changed so the VZ logo was more visible.

A Verizon post with a fun illustration to celebrate Halloween and give cybersecurity tips. The illustration started out with more shadows and fill, but needed to be changed to fit VZ’s more flat and outlined style.

A social post for Verizon which included editing the image for a ‘spot the difference game”. The top image includes the picture without edits, and the bottom is the ‘changed’ version. Some changes are the phone color, the logo on the shirts, the bracelet’s color, and the back window. The images went on their Instagram stories to engage consumers.

Bristol Myer Squibs art cards were created to honor their current employees. The headshot images had to be edited to different backgrounds and cropped. The images from the employees are often also low resolution, so we run them through Topaz Gigel Pixel AI, as well.

Examples of edited faces and backgrounds for headshots and hero images of BMS employees.
To the left of the first headshot are some of the previous edited versions. The employee images go thorough many crits before arriving the final image. Some of the edits they have to go through is changing the environment, fixing the lighting, and cleaning up hair and blemishes. Overall, the client work relies on collaboration between designers and an understanding of brand consistency.
